About Us
Friendly. Relaxed. Supportive. We are focused on kids and teens aged 3-17 having a go at athletics.
We cater for children who have never done athletics through to National Champions.
We are a community sports club run by parent volunteers with a squad of qualified coaches.
We are affiliated with the century-old Adelaide Harriers Athletic Club, which caters to teenagers and adults. We share facilities but have separate memberships.

Registrations are now open!

Summer Meets for ages 3-17 are on Friday Nights from October - March.

These Meets are not competitions, but a chance for athletes to take part in the events on their age group program, and try to achieve personal bests.
You are entitled to two 'come and try' sessions.
The results are recorded and visible on your family Results Hq account. Your child can track their progress over the season here. We have young coaches at each event to help your child learn how to do each event. These young coaches are supervised by our head coach, Shane Danaher.
See the age group calculator below to find out which group your child will be in. Tiny Tots (T/T) do a modified one hour program led by our fabulous Tiny Tots coaches.

Para Athletes
Athletics is a wonderful sport for para athletes to get involved in.
They can achieve so much. We are very proud of our two para athletes Keira and Gabriel. See their inspiring stories below.
Please contact us if you have a keen para athlete who would like to feel the enjoyment of athletics!
Keira Post
Keira is a T37 classified para athlete who acquired a serious brain injury as an infant, and as a result, lives with left sided hemiplegia. She first tried athletics as an 11 year old with Adelaide Harriers Little Athletics Club and has been with the club for 4 years. The past couple of seasons she has transitioned into senior competition with the Adelaide Harriers Seniors. Keira has represented SA both in the National Primary Schools Track and Field Championships in Melbourne and Darwin and more recently in the Australian Junior Track and Field Championships in Sydney. She has won numerous state and national medals over the past 3 years and is the current T37 Under 15 Australian champion and record holder in the 100m, 200m and Long Jump.
She also won U16 Track and Field
athlete of the year (non para) last season!

Gabriel Wilson
Gabriel is a T20 classified para athlete who competes in 100m and 200m sprint events. He was born with genetic microcephaly, resulting in intellectual disability, but always enjoyed running fast and was identified as talented sprinter by Shane Danaher, who has become his coach and mentor.
He began athletics as a 14 year old, mainly to meet other kids with disabilities who were also interested in running.
Gabe was initially reluctant to get involved, however early success as a sprinter, winning numerous medals in State Championships and All Schools championships sparked his enthusiasm.
Competing at the Australian Track & Field Championships in 2021, he qualified for the finals in both 100m & 200m events, running a PB in the latter.
Travelling interstate has been an exciting highlight.
He also enjoys the social aspect of competing for the Adelaide Harriers.
Please contact us if you have a keen para athlete who would like to join our club and feel the enjoyment of athletics!
